PACKAGING MANAGEMENT

The ICS PACK module supports generation and management of packaging system planning information as well as production tracking and reporting. Using the information provided by the ASP SALE module for circulation requirements, complete package and zone data is generated for each packaging machine. The generated production plan can be used manually or automatically downloaded to various inserter control systems.

When used in conjunction with “INS-500” controls it provides a fully-integrated automated packaging system. Production results can be entered manually or acquired automatically from supported systems for reporting purposes. Production data includes all waste, miss, repair, starts, stops, faults, etc. broken down by package, zone  and machine as well as totals for each item.
